Grassy Spot Downslope
At the lower of of the Savannah Slope is this small grassy spot, almost
totally enclosed by trees, a shaded, peaceful area. The grass is short, but a
healthy bright green, especially near the small spring that runs across the
ground. On the other side of the clearing, where the land begins to slope
upwards, is an opening in the undergrowth and ground, leading to a (den).
 
   Through the trees to the [L]ush [G]rassland   [Up] to the Savannah Slope

You can see...
[ZZZ] Masali
[IC ] Jadyyr, eyes still closed, sleeping soundly next to his family
[IC ] Kwafeli
[ZZZ] Zalirah, little serval slumbering close to her mother.

Fevra murrs, foreclaws extending momentarily as she stretches forward, waking.

Jadyyr remains curled up in a ball of fuzz, still snoozing happily.

Fevra settles to her belly again, smiling gently as she observes the various
sleeping fluff balls.

Jadyyr yawms and stretches slowly, having woken up with the parental unit's
movement.

Fevra rests her chin on her paws, turning most of her attention to the small,
waking cub.
Fevra shifts onto one side, trying to get more comfortable without disturbing
the various fluff balls too severely.

Kwafeli is.. sleeping all cute 'n' curled up by mum, really. :)

Fevra falls still, then says musingly, "Zalirah, Masali," trailing into a
thoughtful silence. Two named, her daughters, but the others--at this thought
Fevra raises her head to look more intently at her sons.

Kwafeli stirs slightly in his sleep, curling into a tight, fluffy ball against
Fevra.

Jadyyr yawns, stretches once more, then prompty rolls over onto his other side
with a slight 'urf'

Fevra continues to smile. "Lazy," she informs them in a fond tone. "The both
of you."

Jadyyr would take offense to the term 'Lazy' directed at him, should he know
how to speak. In reponse, he sighs happily and just lays there.

Kwafeli rolls over again and yawns widely, letting out a squeaky mew.

Fevra continues to speak, directing the words at the brothers by her side. "My
sons, you are. I can tell you that much of your line: of Fevra, lineage
unknown, by Pajadi, Rangfar, lineage unknown as well." Her tone remains even
through this. Perhaps she is coming to terms with the past, and the uncertain
future. "But you need names. Can't go through life nameless." With this
comment, she looks to the larger, darker cub, somehow feeling that less rides
on his identity.

Kwafeli points his face at the voice as the talking finally disturbs him out
of his sleep.  He blinks and looks blankly up at Fevra as she recites.

Fevra continues to think aloud. "You're rather obviously mine, with that dark
coloring." Not that there's any doubt of that, mind you, but it's something to
say. "Kw--kwa," That seems to work well enough, a kind of echo of the cub's
voice. But too short. "Kwafeli," she decides at last. From his voice, and her
name, and at the end symmetry with his sister. 

Kwafeli isn't able to make any real verbal response, but his tiny mew in
responce almost seems to be approval.

Fevra nods, satisfied, and decides to wait on the final naming for some other
day, drifting into a doze.

The nameless wonder continues to doze, unmoving, unaware of his being left out
of the naming...
